Author Guidelines for the Journal of Information Technology, Cybersecurity, and Artificial Intelligence (JITCAI)
We invite authors to submit high-quality manuscripts for consideration in the Journal of Information Technology, Cybersecurity, and Artificial Intelligence (JITCAI). Please read the following guidelines carefully to ensure your submission meets our standards and requirements.
1. Scope and Focus Areas
JITCAI publishes research, review articles, case studies, and short communications across Information Technology, Cybersecurity, and Artificial Intelligence. Submissions should address current developments, challenges, or applications within these fields.
2. Types of Manuscripts
- Research Articles: Original research findings, typically 3000 to 5000 words.
- Review Articles: Comprehensive reviews of relevant topics, 4000 to 5000 words.
- Case Studies: Real-world applications or detailed case analyses, 2000 to 4000 words.
- Short Communications: Brief studies or updates on ongoing research, 1000 to 2000 words.
3. Manuscript Preparation
All submissions must be prepared according to the following formatting and content guidelines:
a. Formatting
- File Format: Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx).
- Font and Spacing: Use 10-point Cambria font, single-spaced.
- Margins: Set 1-inch margins on top/ bottom and 0.5 inches on left/right sides.
- Page Numbers: The Journal will set the numbers on all pages.
b. Structure
- Title Page: Include the manuscript title, all author names, affiliations, and contact information for the corresponding author.
- Abstract: A concise summary of up to 250 words outlining the purpose, methodology, key findings, and implications of the study.
- Keywords: Provide 3 to 5 keywords that best describe the content.
- Main Text: Organize the main text into sections such as Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and Conclusion.
- References: Use either IEEE citation style (specify which style the journal prefers) or include all references cited in the text in a reference list at the end of the manuscript.
c. Tables and Figures
- Tables: Place tables at the end of the manuscript or embed them within the text. Number tables consecutively and include descriptive captions.
- Figures: Submit figures in high-resolution format. Number figures consecutively and provide captions.
4. Submission Process
- Submission System: Manuscripts should be submitted through the journal’s online submission platform: [Insert submission link].
- Initial Screening: Manuscripts will undergo an initial screening for relevance, originality, and adherence to guidelines before being sent for peer review.
5. Peer Review Process
JITCAI follows a double-masked peer review process to ensure impartiality and quality. At least two independent reviewers review submissions. The review process typically takes 4-6 weeks, after which authors will be notified of the decision:
- Accept
- Minor Revisions
- Major Revisions
- Reject
6. Plagiarism and Ethical Standards
All manuscripts must be original and free from plagiarism. Manuscripts will be screened using plagiarism detection tools. Authors are responsible for ensuring the integrity of their work and should avoid practices such as data fabrication and improper citation.
7. Conflicts of Interest
Authors must disclose any financial or personal relationships that could influence their research. Conflicts of interest should be disclosed on the title page of the manuscript.
8. Article Processing Charge (APC)
JITCAI is a Gold Open Access journal with an Article Processing Charge (APC) of $50 per accepted paper. This fee supports the cost of peer review, editorial processing, and online hosting, ensuring that all articles are freely accessible to readers worldwide.
9. Copyright and Licensing
Accepted articles are published under a Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0), allowing unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction provided the original authors and source are credited. Authors retain the copyright of their work.
10. Revisions and Resubmission
Authors should carefully address reviewers’ comments when revising their manuscripts. Revised manuscripts must be resubmitted within the specified time frame (typically 2-4 weeks for minor and 8 weeks for major revisions).
11. About the CC BY 4.0 License
The Journal of Information Technology, Cybersecurity, and Artificial Intelligence (JITCAI) publishes all articles under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). This license allows others to share, copy, distribute, and adapt the work, provided the original author and source are credited. The terms of the CC BY 4.0 license can be reviewed in full at: https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/.

- Attribution: Proper credit must be given to the original authors, including a link to the license and indication if any changes were made.

12. Copyright and Publishing Rights
At the Journal of Information Technology, Cybersecurity, and Artificial Intelligence (JITCAI), authors retain full copyright and publishing rights to their work under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). This license supports open access by allowing authors to keep control over their work while enabling broad dissemination and reuse.
